More Koi On Sale And Other News.

The bank holiday weekend was one of the busiest we have had in years and It was a pleasure to see so many new faces.

During the week we have been busy putting away deliveries, restocking our fish ponds and and doing general maintenance.

The ponds were given a good water change and the filters were  cleaned then dosed with bacteria supplement ready for the Koi.

Its been a challenge keeping up with the demand for Koi again this season. Our quarantine system is working overtime. It was renovated two years ago and I extremely happy with the way it has performed. If you would like to see it being constructed then here is a link to the build on YouTube.

Plant sales are also doing well. This was our third delivery arriving at the store and being put on sale.

Marginals, Lillie’s and Oxygenaters  are selling particularly well. We have pots, hessian liner and compost available. If you require advice regarding potting please ask a member of staff who will be glad to help you.

On Tuesday we had another delivery of pond fish.  We currently have several sizes of Gold Fish and Shubunkins. Prices start from just £3.99.

We also have a limited number of 6in Golden Rudd. They are on display in our large pond on the front of the building and are on sale at £12 each or 10 for just £50. They are proving very popular!

The online sales are proving to be extremely popular again. This week we have dispatched orders orders to London, Spalding, Northhants and South Wales.

Just click the picture above and take a look at some of the new listings. I am trying to list new fish every few days.

The over night service is working flawlessly. Its hard to understand how the courier is able to offer such a good service for just  £20!

The weather in Nottingham for the weekend is looking good, some showers are possible on Saturday.
We are not heating our Koi ponds. They are at ambient temperature and are stable at 12c.

We are now feeding our Koi on the staple grade NishKoi.

Looking forward to seeing you at the shop soon.
